Solar Eclipse 2001, Zambia


 

This page contains initial scans of some of my photos from the eclipse, taken at the Robin Pope Safairis / Sunvil viewing site in the Lower Zambezi National Park,  Zambia.

These images were taken using a Nikon F80 and a Vivitar Series 1 100-400  f1:4.5-6.7  lens with a Jessops x2 converter on Fuji Velvia film.

  
These images were taken using a Nikon F80 and a Nikkor 75-240 f1:4.5-5.6  lens on Fuji Velvia film. (The second ring is a reflection from inside the lens)

These images were taken in the last few minutes before tolality using a Nikon F80 and a Nikkor 28-80 f1:3.5-5.6D  lens on Fuji Velvia film.
